The second show here is Martyr Museum that divided Denmark a few weeks back in 2016. The setting in this cross platform work was a guided tour in a museum that exhibited ho the term martyr has been used in different contexts with examples from different parts of the world throughout history.
The first one out of the bag is ”Joey Chestnut, a culinary tale of a folk hero”. The one act piece revolves around competitive eater Joey Chestnut woven with other tales of food. First premiered in 2013, the show since have been touring venues and festivals.
