ANNE & EMPATIKRISEN

Anne & the crisis of empathy was a large format production founded by the scenography-duo Sir Grand Lear, performed at Østerbro Teater in Copenhagen.

The different shows in project was created by assuming the role of the average dane Anne H Nielsen and the alleged statment that Denmark has a crisis of empathy.

In the five part project the creative team worked with the theme empathy by inviting a specialist panel of average danish people for dinner where reasearcher/journalist Torben Sangild moderated a conversation.

Based on the conversation the creators found a concept, rehearsed and performed an episod of Anne € the crisis of empathy at Østerbro Teater in a room where everyone from the bar personal to the audience dressed up as Anne.
